Javier Dacak was borm in Paraguay and began his study of Taekwon-do at 16 years
of age under Master Won Bok Lee, the founder of Taekwondo in Paraguay.  One of the
greatest moments of his career was having become the world champion of  power breaking
at the First World Championships of Taekwon-Do (ITF) which were held in Canada in 1974.
Javier topped this feat in 1978 when he won 1st place again in the breaking division at the
Second World Championship of Taekwon-Do (ITF) in Oklahoma City, USA.  He won that
event by breaking six boards which were not spaced.  What made his feat most spectacular
was that this was the first time anyone had broken six boards, with Javier did so with a badly
injured hand.   He was also responsible for increasing the popularity of Taekwon-do in the
country of Argentina when he organized the 3rd World Championship of Taekwon-do (ITF)
in 1981.  This was the first time that a Taekwon-do event of such magnitude had been held in
Argentina and South America.  Today Javier proudly serves as President of the Taekwon-do
Federation (ITF) of Paraguay.
