GrandMaster Ken Cheung

                                                        Grand Master Ken Cheung

Mr. Ken Cheung, an 8th dan Grand Master, introduced Taekwondo to the community of Brampton on February 18, 1977,
when he founded his school - Cheung’s Taekwondo. The school has been a vital part of Brampton for over 25 years and its
success represents not only Grand Master Cheung’s dedication and hard work, but his lifelong journey with the martial arts.

Grand Master Cheung began studying the Martial Arts at the age of fifteen and soon after achieved the rank of black belt in
Karate. At the age of 18, he achieved a level of proficiency in Taoist Kung Fu equivalent to a 4th Dan Black Belt. Shortly

competitions at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul, Korea and the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona, Spain.

business into a nonprofit organization. He is now a volunteer instructor and Technical Director of the school. Being recog-
