                           Competition Structure in Early KOREA

Competition in Korea produced numerous geat champions because the
competitors were divided into (2) two groups, (1st and 2nd dans), and
(3rd and 4th dans).  There were 6 weight divisions in each group. As a
result, each competition produced 12 champions.  Main and Corner
referess would be 4th dans, while 5th dans and higher served as Jury.
