Cassano is flying high

11/21/2001. Roma’s nineteen year old prodigy Antonio Cassano is the player of the moment in the Italian capital after that his entrance on the Ali Sami Yen pitch yesterday coincided with Roma’s resurrection that lead to Emerson’s last gasp equalizer.

“It was an important game for me as I was able to demonstrate my abilities,” said Cassano.

“I see football as fun, and I have a great feeling with Totti. I believe we demonstrated to be a great team in the second half,” added the former Bari magician.

Rome is a city in which both the fans and the journalists can easily get carried away with emotions, so it was no surprise to hear a journalist ask Cassano whether he expected to win the ‘Ballon D’Or’ in the years to come.

“Maybe in two years, but also in one would be great,” said Cassano.
