Chika Chukwumerije
Africa Olympic Player of the Year


                                                                       Chika Chukwumerije is a graduate in the subject of mechanical engineering. His father, Uche Chukwumerije was a
                                                                       National Senator and Information Minister of Nigeria.
 At the 2007 All-Africa Games in Algiers, Algeria Chukwumerije
                                                                       won  the gold .
 In the 2008 Beijing Olympics
competing in the men's +80kg event, Chukwumerije defeated Vietnam's
                                                                       Nguyen Van Hung in the preliminary rounds. He defeated Mali's Daba Modibo Keïta in the quarterfinals, but lost to
                                                                       Greece's Alexandros Nikolaidis in a controversial decision.  Above he is congratulated by Nigeria goverment officials
                                                                       as he is being inducted into the Taekwondo Hall of  Fame.  At center is

NIA ABDALLAH
First Official USA Female Taekwondo Medalist
2004 Bronze

Nia Abdallah made history at Athens 2004 by being the FIRST and to this day ONLY USA female
to have won an official Olympic medal in Taekwondo. She received Taekwondo's highest honor and
made history again on April 6th 2007 when she became the world's first official Olympic medalist
to be inducted into the TAEKWONDO HALL OF FAME
