 RUMA ROY CHOWDHURY of Bengal, India distinguished herself as "INDIA FEMALE PLAYER OF THE YEAR" with her official certificate awarded by the Taekwondo Hall of Fame. Ruma won the gold medal at the 3rd Alexandria International Open Taekwondo Championship held in Alexandria, Egypt in 2009. She also won a gold medal at the 2005 Hwarang World Taekwondo Championships held in South Korea. See Times of India Article |
