This excellent value-for-money publication differs from most of the other
Euro 2000 books in both its size and binding. It is an attractively priced
hardback volume written by Gerry Cox and given official backing from UEFA.
In here you will find information on all the stadia, a DIY results
table that lets you chart the teams' progress through the tournament, a guide
to how all the nations got through the qualifying rounds and 60 full colour
photos of the hottest figures on the pitch. This is a good-looking,
well produced book, full of just enough information and well laid out. And
at just under £4 it is a sure-fire bargain. --Joanne Wells

With more guides to Euro 2000 than Beckham has had hairstyles, its hard to
know which one to choose to steer you through the excitement and drama, but
this one is a good start. It has been officially licensed through UEFA and
written by Keir Radnedge from World Soccer Magazine so has all the
up-to-the-minute facts and stats as well as plenty of colour photos. Not
only do you get the lowdown on the stadiums, the superstars, the teams and
the history of the event, you can keep track of all the action with the
Tournament Progress Chart (if you can find the heart to scrawl over the book!)
This is a fun, colourful and easy to follow guide to Euro 2000 but will probably
appeal to the sport's younger fans thanks to its large format and funky design.
It's solidly written and informative--you can't really go wrong. --Joanne
