starting in 1972 in the French League playing for  
the little known Nancy club. His years with
St. Etienne(1978-1982) including the French
Championship in 1981. His dazzling career with
Juventus in the Italian league, who captured the Italian cup, the
European Cup Winner's Cup, and the European Cup. France, under
Captain Platini won the 1984 European Championships and reached
the Semi-Finals of the World Cup in 1982 and 1986. A magnificent career,
