Match
Summary:
An accurately struck free-kick
by Montecinos on the quarter-hour upset Manchester's confident opening period
but worse was in store when Beckham was sent off for a reckless foul on Cabrera.
Clearly sensing their chance, Necaxa started the second half more positively,
expertly prompted by midfield caption Aguinaga. Bosnich saved Aguinaga's
penalty (57) and Pineda held on from Yorke (80) but Yorke got the sought-after
equaliser two minutes later. The game rose to a tense finale as both teams
went for the winner.
