NIGERIA QUALIFY FOR WORLD CUP

PORT HARCOURT: Nigeria have beaten Ghana 3-0 in a qualifying match for next year's World Cup to be played in South Korea and Japan. The score at half time was three nil. The victory put Nigeria on 16 points in African group B, one ahead of Liberia who miss out. The Nigerians had to win today's game to secure their place in the finals for the third time in succession.
