SHIZUOKA


Shizuko prefecture is located nearly at the center of Japan, along the Pacific Coast. It boasts a rich natural environment that inclkudes beautiful mountains and lajkes as well as a 500km coastline.  since the road the "Tokaido". linked kyoto and Edo (Tokyo's former name) passed through Shizuoka during the Edo period (1603-1868), Shizuoka became an important traffic port, contributing to it's current prosperity.   Today, various industrial products including musical instrumenmts and transport equipmenmt are produced for exports.
