YOKOHAMA

Yokohama is Japan's second largest city after Tokyo, aboiut 20km from Tokyo, with excellemt transportation links. Downtown Tokyo and  Haneda Airport are only 30 minutes away by car, while the New Tokyo international Airport, known as Narita can be reached by rail in 84 minutes.   It used to be a small fishing village, but after being opened to the world in as one Japan's international ports in 1895, the city absorbed Western culture and civilization from international visitors, leading to the modernization of Japan.
