Albert Cheeks

When reflecting upon a list of names of America's greatest tournament
competitors,  Albert Cheeks is a name which readily comes to mind
"Ckeeks", an 8th dan black belt and senior black belt of the late Grand
Master Ki Whang Kim, dominated the heavy-weight division and won
the grand championship at events too numerous to mention. Along with
legendary players` Joseph Hayes and  Mike Warren, (another Ki Whang
Kim "great" ), he competed on the team which won the overall Silver at
the 1st World Taekwondo Championships in Korea in 1973.  "Cheeks" is
not only revered by past and current champions for his physical prowess
in the ring, but for his ability to impart upon others, his profound grasp
of  the complex practical and theoretical aspects involved in becoming a
"Champion"  .. More on GM Albert Cheeks
